Step One: Selecting Art for your Book
You probably have a few favorite pictures stuck on your refrigerator or saved in a special
box or bag. That's a great place to start collecting art to send to us. Other items that you might like to archive include
homemade cards, self-portraits or portraits of your family, some early writing or a special story that was created as part
of a school project. Don't know which art pieces to send us? Send it all and we'll choose what to put into your book.
Step Two: Getting your work to us
If you live in New York City, you can drop off your work at our Upper West Side studios. If
you live farther away, you can use a messenger service, Fedex or mail your art to us.
Step Three: Approving your book's design
When we have all of your art here in our studio, we get to work designing a beautiful, contemporary
art book just for you! When we're done, we send you an on-line proof so you can see the sequence of your pictures and the
general design of your book. Once you approve, your book is off to the printer to be professionally printed and bound.
Each book comes with a beautiful dust jacket -- that's where I know you'll want to include a photograph of the artist and
a short biography.
